U.S.HealthWorks Acquires Priority Medical Care
|

| U.S. HealthWorks, a leading operator of ocupational healthcare and urgent care centers nationwide, has acquired Priority Medical Care, Bridgewater, NJ, and its affiliated site, TCOM (Total Care of Occupational Medicine), Somerset NJ. The same physicians, clinical and patient support staff will be continuing at both sites to provide medical care for the Somerset County Community as before. Most insurances will still be accepted. However, after February 17th, we will not be able to treat patients who are insured under Medicare, We apologize for any inconvenience this creates and would be happy to refer you to local physicians who are participating with Medicare. |

Flu Shot Reminder

Yearly flu vaccination should continue begin as soon as vaccine is available and continue into December, January, and beyond. Influenza outbreaks can happen as early as October; though most of the time influenza activity peaks in January or later. Because protective antibody levels take about two weeks after vaccination to develop , it makes no sense to wait until an outbreak starts before you protect yourself and your family.
In the words of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
Don't get the flu. Don't pass the flu. Get vaccinated. |

Established in 1989, Priority Medical Care has been serving the Bridgewater and Somerville community for 20 years; providing medical services to well over 100,000 of our neighbors in greater Somerset County area.
Conveniently located at the intersection of Grove Street and Route 22 East, the office is easily accessible from Routes 287, 202, 206 and 22 West, as well as from the local streets of Bridgewater and Somerville. There are entrances at 350 Grove Street and from Route 22 East, with ample parking available right outside our door.
Priority Medical Care has three distinct but associated medical divisions: The Urgent Care Center, the Family Health Center and the Occupational Health Center. Each division provides services which are tailored to the different needs and requirements of the residents and businesses of our community. But because all divisions are situated in the same building, patients are able to attend to their personal and their work-related health care needs in one convenient location.
